We would like to invite you to a unique training and equipping opportunity. On April 17th - 20th, Paul Humphreys of GoodSeed, Int'l will be teaching a seminar using the new book By This Name, which is a recently completed revision of the popular book, The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus.

At this seminar, participants will learn how to engage in worldview evangelism by sharing their faith with the following focuses:
   - Starting in the Old Testament
   - Focusing on the stories relating to the gospel
   - Assuming people you teach know little or nothing about the Bible

The seminar will be 22 hours in length, beginning Thursday night and ending Sunday afternoon. (See seminar schedule for details) The cost for the seminar is $75 per person, which covers snacks, 2 lunches and 2 suppers, plus all materials and handouts for the seminar, including a copy of the book, By This Name. Some Bible colleges have given credit to students who have taken this course, and certificates of completion will be available for students who attend all the sessions.

The seminar schedule, flyers and registration forms are available here. If you would like additional materials (power points slides for promotional purposes), or if you have further questions, please contact the FBC Office at 951-658-7133 or by e-mail at mail@fbchemet.org.

An introductory presentation ("Opportunity #1" on the flyer), will be held at FBC on Wednesday night, April 16th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Paul Humphreys will give an overview of the material as well as recount examples of how it has been used to transform lives. The actual seminar (Opportunity #2) will start on Thursday evening, and will follow the schedule provided. Due to the nature of the material and format of the seminar, it is designed for people who are able to attend all the sessions. I might add this training seminar is usually only offered in Idaho and Canada, which are the two main offices of GoodSeed.

We are excited this opportunity is being made available in our area. We trust you will consider joining us for the seminar, as well as sharing this information with others. It is my prayer that many will take advantage of this wonderful learning and training opportunity.

Together for His glory,
Pastor Bob Meisel
